Ryobi’s 2.0Ah18v battery from its Lithium+ battery range is more powerful than the cheapest of Ryobi’s batteries – the 1.3AH Lithium Battery RB18L13. Ryobi claims that the RB18L20 is capable of driving 600 4 x 32mm screws on a single charge using its R18DD3 18v Cordless Drill/Driver, compared to 380 with its 1.3AH Lithium Battery RB18L13.. And claims it can cut 34m of 13mm plywood using Ryobi’s R18CS-0 18v Cordless Circular Saw, but it is worth comparing this to the 100m claimed with its 18V 5.0AH Lithium+ Battery RB18L50. Though as with all batteries these runs times are indicative and can change depending on the tools used, the application and even individual batteries.
The claimed weight of this battery is only 490 grams, though the downside is the considerably shorter run-time when compared to the bigger batteries. So once again – this battery is good for quick jobs or less powerful tools but not as suited to the larger tools or jobs when longer run-times are important.
